Pay Scale : Executive Trainees will be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs.16500/- p.m. (under revision) during the one year training period. After confirmation they will be fitted in the scale of pay of Rs.12000 – 17500.

The Selected Candidates will be placed on training for one year. . After successful completion of training, the trainees will be absorbed as Assistant Engineer in the scale of pay : Rs.15600-: 39100

How to apply

Candidates will have to apply online through DVC’s website www.dvc.gov.in. Each candidate should have a valid E-mail ID a tleast for subsequent 6(six) months. General as well as OBC category candidates are required to pay a nonrefundable Demand Draft of Rs.300/- as registration fee drawn in favour of “The Chief Accounts Officer, DVC, Kolkata” payable at Kolkata. No application fee is needed for SC/ST/PH and departmental candidates. SC/ST/PH category candidate has to submit attested copy of the relevant Certificates mentioned here under. No other mode of payment would be accepted. Candidates can visit the online registration site from 04.06.2009 till 24-00 hrs.(midnight) of 23.06.2009. After applying online, candidate is required to download the registration slip generated by the system in duplicate with unique registration number. Please paste one colored passport photograph (3.5 cm x 3.5 cm) not older than 3 months at the required place and sign on the registration slip. The candidate has to send one print out of the ‘Registration Slip’ duly completed along with 5(five) nos. photographs, each identical to the one pasted on the Regn. slip and Demand Draft of Rs 300.00 (For GEN and OBC candidates only). The Reserved category candidates must enclose Caste or Tribe Certificate, age proof certificate and /or Disability certificate, as applicable, along with the registration slip. The registration number, name, discipline and category should be written at the back of the Demand Draft.The envelope should be superscribed as i) GET - (MECHANICAL/ ELECTRICAL/ Control & Instrumentation) ii) GEN/ OBC/ SC/ ST/ PH and iii) Registration number with a tick mark on corresponding selection and striking off the others.
